The Lane 51 Story

Hi Beautiful, I'm Laura, the owner & creator of Lane 51.  I launched Lane 51 Boutique in 2019 because I wanted to help women look & feel their best.  To me, clothes are more than just what you wear, they're a way to express yourself.  At Lane 51, we know that your clothing is your armor -- it's what you walk out wearing into the world everyday. It needs to fit you and your personality, because we all know that a great outfit can be life changing.

If you look good, you feel good --- and my goal is to make you feel like that everyday!

This is why I created Lane 51 --- I want you look and feel your absolute best without breaking the bank.  Feeling good in your clothing can directly effect your mood in a very positive way.  The right outfit can boost your confidence, your mood & even increase productivity.  Everything on The Lane is always priced under $100 allowing you to stay stylish without the stress.

Growing up I always had a passion for fashion and styling. I learned at a young age that I could express myself through my clothing.  My outfit choices gave me the confidence to truly be myself, to stand out and let my personality shine.  My formal journey began at Ohio University, where I earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising. Along the way I worked at Cejon Accessories (a wholesale accessory company in NYC) and in Los Angeles at BCBG Max Azria. I've worked alongside designers, produced fashion shows and photo shoots, as well as immersed myself in customer service through in-store retail.  While working as a stylist at Stitch Fix I received feedback from numerous clients that the outfits they received (from me) made them feel beautiful, that they're clothes created a certain confidence that allowed them to shine. I knew helping women feel great was my calling! Lane 51 was born in 2019 and I haven’t looked back.

There are so many ways to experience Lane 51 besides filling your cart with goodies right here online.  I have a showroom out of my home in Wexford where I host open showroom hours, in-person events and client styling sessions. We also host pop-up events at local venues, and virtual shopping events via Instagram and Facebook.

When I'm not working in the showroom or styling clients, I am spending time with my son and husband Greg.  The entrepreneurial vibe is strong in our house, as my husband owns his own business as well. My boys have been extremely supportive of Lane 51 and I couldn't be more grateful.
